Creepy Crawlies

A spooky-fun elementary duet. It is written in Middle C position for both players with easily accessible shifts to neighbour notes. And hand crossing is added to allow the student to reach octave notes. It can be taught in Middle C position but then performed at the octave. The last two lines can be taught by rote to help the student master the diminished seventh sound going up the keyboard as the players madly play as fast as they can between the LH and RH to mimic the scurrying spiders running rampant! A fun piece, perfect for Recitals and Festivals – especially at Halloween!
