Spinning

Spinning is a toccata requiring control and precise coordination of hands together. The left hand legato melody should be heard above the right hand while shaping the phrases dynamically. The expanded LH melody in 4ths will require separate practise to achieve a legato sound by matching the tone quality throughout and keeping the rhythm very even. The challenge is keeping the tempo consistent and building enough endurance to keep it sounding easy until the very end.
