Dinosaur Bones

Imagine what the dinosaur bones used to do! Plod along and feel the earth shaking with every footstep. You want to sound heavy, so the staccatos should be a bit ‘stuck’ with a ‘down, down’ touch. Take your time as this dinosaur doesn’t go anywhere very fast. Rhythmically, play the eighth notes evenly, not in swing rhythm. Think of our ‘ginormous’ beast doing a heavy footed little dinosaur dance as he crosses the swamp ‘to get to the other side’!
